The Wig Reconstruction Service is designed for clients who already own a wig but are unhappy with the fit, structure, or overall construction of the unit. If your wig feels too bulky, too tight, too loose, uncomfortable, poorly shaped, or does not lay the way it should, this service allows your wig to be taken apart and rebuilt for a better fit and finish.
This service is ideal for wigs that were previously constructed on the wrong cap size, made with poor track placement, have excess bulk, or no longer feel secure when worn. During the reconstruction process, your wig will be carefully taken down and rebuilt on a new wig cap using your measurements to create a more customized fit.
This service may include:
- Taking down the existing wig construction
- Rebuilding the wig on a new cap
- Adjusting the size and fit based on your head measurements
- Repositioning bundles/tracks for a flatter, more natural look
- Improving the overall structure of the wig
- Light styling after reconstruction
Please note:
All wigs must be reviewed and approved before this service is accepted. Not every wig is a good candidate for reconstruction. Wigs with severely damaged lace, poor-quality hair, excessive shedding, missing wefts, or hair that cannot withstand the reconstruction process may not be accepted.
This service does not automatically include a new closure, frontal, bundles, coloring, or lace replacement. If additional items or services are needed, you will be notified before the reconstruction begins.
Best for clients who:
- Have a wig that does not fit properly
- Feel like their wig is too bulky or uncomfortable
- Own a wig that slides, lifts, or does not feel secure
- Want their current wig rebuilt instead of purchasing a completely new unit
- Have quality hair that can still be reused
